My little girl Lexi just turned 2!!! Yikes! Where has all the time gone?? She is changing in leaps and bounds every single day. Now when you ask her her name, she will tell you that her name is Lettuce! It is the cutest darn thing ever!! She is also starting to potty train, her choice. She's not into using it every day, but I'll take what I can get! =) Lettuce also is starting to really develop her language. She can answer questions when you ask her, I don't always understand what she's saying, but she lets you know one way or the other what it is she's saying to you.
Her birthday party was a lot of fun, we had my parents, Scott's mom and Richard, Auntie Jean, Uncle Dan, and Erin over. We had some burgers, chips, potato salad, and other yummy snacks and just enjoyed the day. My most awesome next door neighbor Koney made Lexi a Blue's Clues cake and a little cake just for Lexi. She also brought over a table that was Kylie's that she painted and made "new" again for Lexi, it's beautiful. Koney and her family are the BEST!!!! What a wonderful day we had.
Kylie is just about to end the school year and will be heading on to the 5th grade!!!! I still remember my 5th grade year like it was yesterday, how can I possibly have a 5th grader?? ;)
Kylie is still in gymnastics, though we are taking this month off, because well, frankly, I forgot to go to the Rec. center and pay for the month. (oops) She loves gymnastics and she seems to be getting pretty good at it!!
Tinky is doing pretty well, she seems to be getting better and more able to use her leg every day. At least this time she's kept the cast on!! =) She's a sweet little thing when we're at home, but take her to the vet and her little chihuahua horns pop out of her head and she goes on the offensive trying to eat Dr. Heidi and her staff! (Good thing they love me and don't hold my doggies actions against me! tee hee!!) So, in order to anything to her, they have to sedate her, which even at her little size isn't an inexpensive visit!! Hopefully the next time we go in, it will be her last for awhile.
Cooper is being nice to Tink and not attacking her too much since her accident. Coop though is so ready for her to feel better so they can play like normal. He is still fitting in with our family really well and is such a great kitty. Had to take him in the to the vet too though for ear mites, he was good though and unlike his doggie sister didn't attempt to eat Amanda (the vet tech). =)
He is a whopping 9 lbs and is only 9 months old, so Dr. Heidi says he's going to be a big kitty. Which is exactly what we were looking for!!

As for me, my knee is getting better every day and I have started walking a minimum of 2 miles a day and working out on the Wii Fit trying to strengthen it even more. I've been working in the yard and playing Scott! hee hee. I am so lucky though to have Koney and Les next door. Les and Brandon have been mowing the lawns for me and hedging the bushes and trees. I have been pulling weeds, watering, and doing everything else in the yard that I can to hopefully not kill everything that Scott has worked to hard to keep alive. (I am not so good at keeping plants and things alive!)
We're all doing really well and there's not too much else new that's going on in our house. I'll post some more when something exciting and new happens!!!
I know what you mean about anything that grows. I am the same way. I would love a house full of plants but I tried that and it didn't work. :) I am working on the grass and so far so good. It came back from last years hard work so plus one for me :) Looks like "Lettuce" had a great birthday party!!
