Turning 2 is so much fun. All the new things that we can do and it seems like overnight. Lexi can now say, "Bye!" We were talking to Daddy last night and she was babbling like normal and all of a sudden when we were getting ready to hung up, she says, "Bye bye Dadda!!" She's always waved and blown kisses, but this was the first time she has actually said the word bye. She is also wanting more than ever to do all the things that Kylie does. She sings, dances, spins, and walks like her big sister. She also seems to only want to use the potty when her sister is in there too. Good thing she has her own! Hee hee!!
She got a slide for her bday and loves loves loves to climb up, and slide down. She also got several balls for her bday. She adores balls still and will get one, put it on the slide and crack up laughing as she watches it roll down the slide. I love how she's starting to get cause and reaction. She is also loving her blocks and building little towers with them. It's so neat to see her face when she's done. One of her favorite new things is the bubble blower she got, she learned how to turn it on and has figured out that when the octipus legs reach the blower, she gets bubbles!!!
We got family pictures done at church on Mother's Day, minus daddy of course. =( But they are still great pictures. I thought for sure that they would be terrible since Lexi wasn't cooperating at all that day. She wouldn't sit for pictures, she wouldn't listen, and she wouldn't stop screaming. All in all, the pictures turned at great! I was so excited when I saw them this morning.
